2:1 BA (Hons) degree in photography taken at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design, University College based in Farnham, Surrey.

BTEC National Diploma in design, specialising in photography and video at Stourbridge College - Distinction.

OCN in Music Technology at Walsall College of Arts and Technology.
OCN in Photoshop at Stourbridge College.
City and Guilds in Desk Top Publishing at Stourbridge College.

A Levels: Art - B, Music - D, General Studies - E, Mathematics - N.
GCSE’s: 3 A’s, 4 B’s, 1 C, 1 D.
A Levels & GCSE’s taken at Highfields School, Wolverhampton.

I have a thorough knowledge of computer programs used for digital manipulation and web and book design such as Photoshop, Indesign and Dreamweaver.

12/05: Photography of The Roebuck Public House. Images to be used on the pub's website.

11/05: Photography of Michael Portillo for the Wagner Society.

07/05 - present: Full-time shop assistant at Virgin Megastore, Oxford Street, London.

07/05: Photography of Placido Domingo at the Lindbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden for the Wagner Society.

05/05: Photography of Julian Lloyd Webber and David Batts (chairman of MCC) at Lord's Cricket Ground for the launch of Lord's meetings and events.

10/04: Took publicity photographs for the Volcano Theatre Company stage production of Romeo and Juliet.

4/04: Produced photographs for Knowledge Point – a training school for people to become London taxi drivers – to be used in their various publications and on their website.

2/01: One weeks work experience at The Independent newspaper, working with various photographers and the picture desk, going on location to shoot photos for the following day’s paper.

11/00 - 9/01: Shop assistant at MVC, a music and video shop.

6/00: Employed by a local band to take publicity photographs. Produced both black & white and digitally manipulated images.

5/00 - 6/00: Employment at Klick Photopoint photographic laboratory in Birmingham, sorting and splicing newly arrived films and work with both the mini-lab and in dispatches.

6/99: Employed to take both formal and informal photographs of children at the Lyceum Primary School, Central London.

May 2004 - 'The Helium Project': group exhibition/event in Farnham. Release of 1500 helium balloons with photography attached in aid of CHASE, a children's hospice.

October 2000 - 'Urban Jungle': Arena Theatre, University of Wolverhampton.


Achievements & Interests:

May 2004 - Runner-up in a national competition held by the Royal Geographical Society for a proposed photography project which I worked on in Malawi in the summer of 2004.

For 10 months from September 2001 I travelled through South America, Australia and Asia. I funded the trip myself and feel that my time away made me more independent as well as giving me the opportunity to develop my photography portfolio.

I have done a 10,000 feet tandem skydive raising money for the Big Issue Foundation.

In April of 2005 I ran the Flora London Marathon raising over £1200 for homeless charity Crisis and in September of 2005 I ran the Berlin Marathon.
